This is the most unusual member of the family Tessaratomidae that I have encountered. A rather strange bug which look like a mini dinosaur from the side view. It remained motionless even when a tiny Ghost Ant (Tapinoma melanocephalum) was moving around its body. At first, I thought it was a dead bug infected by wasp or fungus which was why the ant was on it. But, it actually moved its head when I manipulated the leaf that it was on to get some pictures. Then, I thought that it was a bug with the wings mutated or damaged. Later, I found out that its appearance has always been this way.

The lone bug was spotted in October 2013 on the leaf of a Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon citratus) in a park located at the northern part of Singapore. The only picture that I could find (as of this note) was from a China website.
